On Dec. 13th, International Education College of SMU held the Christmas and new year welcome party for international students. Vice president Jin Yongxing, principal of related departments, representative teachers and
international students of different programs attended the annual event.
In his speech, Prof. Jin Yongxing delivered the best Christmas and New Year wishes to international students on behalf of SMU. He said, All kinds of short and longterm program progress smoothly in 2013, and development of international education shows good momentum. CGS moved to Dongming road campus, and the teaching facilities has been improved, which will enhance the sense of belonging to the school for the international students.
The Dean of International Education College announced the official start of the Christmas party.
The party was hosted by SIRILAK from Thailand, SHAH from Pakistan and VAN ANH from Vietnam. The fluent bilingual language and funny hosting style activated the party atmosphere. The International students respectively presented wonderful performances. Folk dancing from Ghana class, self composed song “ Shanghai Diary” of Eli from Indonesia, elocute in French, self write and played stage play “who is the most important”and Chinese martial arts of “The Great Wall never fall”were all high welcomed by the students and teachers.
