RULES FOR RETURNING AND LEAVING SCHOOL

Dear Int’l Students,

The International Education College (IEC), would like to bring to your notice of the underlisted rules for students leaving and returning to the University campus:

1. STUDENTS RETURNING TO SCHOOL: Students residing off-campus but currently in China and wants to return to campus must meet the university’s requirement for returning to school and apply via the “Online administrative service platform” system on the university’s website to return to school.  Students can only return to school according to their reporting date.
2. STUDENT LEAVING CAMPUS: Students who want to leave the university’s premises for a while can apply through the “Student Leaving Application” system on the university’s “Online administrative service platform” system.
   
   1. Students who want to temporarily leave the university premises to a destination(s) within Shanghai in 3 day(s) or less can do so by applying through the “Student Leaving Application” system on the university’s “Online administrative service platform” system.
   2. Additionally, Students who wish to travel within Shanghai for more than a period of 3 days must seek approval from their college counsellor and also apply through the “Student Leaving Application” system on the university’s “Online administrative service platform” system.
   3. Students travelling to other province(s) and cities other than Shanghai should seek approval from their college counsellor indicating the reason and destination of the trip before applying through the “Student Leaving Application” system on the university’s “Online administrative service platform” system.
   4. After the school leaving application is approved, students can enter and exit the university campus by themselves within the approved time frame of their application.

Note:

• In accordance with the Shanghai Exit-Entry Bureau’s policy for international students, any student who stays off-campus for a day or more (within Shanghai) must apply to the Shanghai Exit-Entry Bureau online application system for change of location using this link https://crjzndg.gaj.sh.gov.cn/24hr/web/zcbd/login?relogin=true.
• Additionally, students who travel outside Shanghai should endeavour to register with the hotel they stay-in or the respective local police station near their place of residence with their passport.
• Ensure you have your passport with you at all time (thus, for students who stay off-campus for a day or more).
• Must observe and comply with all government’s requirements on the control and prevention of COVID-19.
