The holiday arrangement for the National Holiday and Mid- Autumn Festival for the university for 2020 are as follows:
HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENT
The National holiday and Mid- Autumn festival holiday begins from Thursday, 1st to Thursday, 8th of October, 2020. In view of that, Sunday, 27th September, 2020 and Saturday, 10th October will be working days of the university.
TEACHING ARRANGEMENT:
Classes initially scheduled for Wednesday, 7th October will be taken on the Sunday, 27th September including evening lectures. Classes on Thursday, 8th October has been shifted to Saturday, 10th October. Second major classes are scheduled to be taken on Sunday, 11th 0ctober.
SHUTTLE BUS OPERATION:
The university’s shuttle bus will be in operation till Wednesday, 27th September and suspended from Thursday, 1st October to Monday, 5th October. The shuttle bus will resume operation from Tuesday, 6th October to Sunday, 11th October, 2020 for the make-up working hours.
OTHER RELEVANT MATTERS
All departments and colleges within the university should strictly implement the regulations regarding the epidemic prevention and control. Concurrently, teachers and students should stay in Shanghai during the holiday period. Students who need to go outside Shanghai due to certain reasons should report to their college secretary and also apply on the university’s administrative platform.
Relevant departments should arrange duty for staffs during this period and also strengthen security work. In event of major emergencies during the holiday period, the relevant department should be notified on time for the necessary measures to be taken.
